I have read really great reviews so i decided to give it a try. This lens is the first of sigma's new 'art' line of lenses that promise excellent optical quality and increased creative options.

For this article, i am going to be looking at a lifetime review of the sigma art 35mm 1.4 lens for canon. In fact, the 35/1.4 is built and designed so well, that several experienced photographers we showed the lens to had trouble believing they were looking at a sigma lens ;) parts of the lens tube are made from metal, including the focus ring (which also features the usual rubber ring to provide better grip).

It's got some big shoes to fill, so check out how it fares in our review. Especially notable is the lack of purple fringing common with the canon 35mm f/1.4 l at f/1.4. The sigma 35mm f/1.4 art lens is a quality piece of equipment at an affordable price.
